Parking Permit FAQs

How do I purchase a permit?

Student Semester Parking Permits are highly recommended and will save you the hassle of feeding the daily parking permit dispensers, especially during cold, windy, or inclement weather conditions. If you are on campus for a minimum of 15 days, the semester permit pays for itself.

Semester permits will be available for purchase ONLY online.

Each permit is valid for the entire semester. This permit only entitles you to park in designated parking spaces. You may not park in restricted spaces, disabled parking spaces (without a placard), yellow zones, red zones, or anywhere else that may cause a safety hazard.

Vehicles

  • Spring or Fall Semester Permit $30
  • Summer Semester Permit - $20

Motorcycles / Two-Wheeled Vehicles

  • Spring or Fall Permit - $24
  • Summer Permit - $16

Daily parking permits are $2. Daily parking permits can be obtained from the parking permit dispensers located in most parking lots except in the Locke-2, Budd-3, Cunn-3, and Cunn-4 lots. The “Parkeon" parking permit dispenser accepts credit/debit cards and $1 bills.

Each permit is valid on the day it is purchased and must be displayed, face up on the dashboard. This permit only entitles you to park in designated parking spaces. You may not park in restricted spaces, disabled parking spaces (without a placard), or anywhere else that may cause a safety hazard. There are no refunds on permits, however, if you place the proper amount in a "Parkeon" permit dispenser and do not get a permit, contact the District Police Dept.

In the event a permit dispenser fails, you must contact the District Police and advise them of the failure. In addition, you must go to another machine to obtain a permit.

Do you have a grace period?

Yes, parking enforcement will begin the third week of the fall and spring semester. For summer semester parking permit enforcement will begin the second week.

No citations are issued for vehicles legally parked in marked spaces during this period. Vehicles illegally parked in reserved, disabled, no parking, or other restricted areas are subject to citation at all time.

 What are Temporary Parking Permits?

Temporary parking permits are available upon request with valid reasoning for contractors working on campus, special events, or for those parking on campus conducting official business with the District.

Please allow 3 working days to process your request and keep in mind, that not all requests will be granted. In addition, temporary permit requests with a date exceeding 30 days from the date of the request will be denied.
